About

Hi and welcome to my blog. My name is Tracy and I’d like to thank you for stopping by. I hope you will find this green parenting blog interesting and useful.  I write about all things to do with eco-parenting, be that days out, recommended products and places to visit or green issues.

I don’t claim to be an ‘eco-warrior’, I am just doing my bit to be kinder to the planet. My aim is to raise children that will have respect for each other, for themselves and for the world we live in. My pet hate is electronic devices. My children do not own game consoles. TV and computer time is limited but playing outside and making a mess is actively encouraged. We craft, we use our imaginations, we read a lot and we have fun. This blog is a record of our adventures and I hope you will enjoy following our journey.

I have been a stay at home mum since having the children, previously I worked in a local Hospice as a PA and Office Manager. My children are now 4 and 7 so I am job hunting! I volunteer in a school two days per week and write this blog which seems to keep me busy enough for the time being.

I love crafting, reading, enjoying our gorgeous Devon countryside, drinking wine and eating chocolate! I love to meet fellow bloggers so do get it touch and say hello.

I am PR friendly and often review products/days out. I am an assessor/blogger with Approved Family Friendly  so feel that I know what I’m talking about when it comes to checking out family friendly providers.

Just discovered your blog through BMB. Really love your short posts (so many blogs to read, so little time!). And great ideas, suggestions and info on green issues. Love it!

    Hi Tracy,

You’re the very first blog I’ve ever read (or subscribed to!) I think! I have mixed feelings about too much screen time but at same time love the connections we get potentially through the net. (And I took myself off F/Book a year ago and haven’t looked back.)

I try to do the green thing too. I think I will try the minty yoghurts with the kids. 🙂

Thanks Lizzie, I feel honoured! I know what you mean, it’s difficult to get the balance right with screen time. We really limit the children’s screen time but I definitely spend too much time on Facebook!
